The CatGenie 120+ is the logical evolution of the tried-and-tested CatGenie system. It is the only cat litter tray in the world that cleans, disinfects and dries itself fully automatically. You’ll never have to touch, smell or manually dispose of cat litter again.

Compared to the standard model, the CatGenie 120+ offers greater flexibility in terms of timing and activation modes.

  • Choose between the classic sleep mode or the new continuous operation – perfect for maximum flexibility.
  • Smart delay:
  • Set the cleaning to start 10 or 30 minutes after use. Ideal if several cats use the litter tray one after the other.
  • Optimised sensors:
  • The improved motion sensors reliably detect every use and adjust the cycle to your settings.
  • Maximum reliability:
  • The 120+ model operates completely independently. No app setup or Wi-Fi connection required – just place it, set it up, and you’re done.

How cleaning works (3-phase system)

As soon as your cat leaves the litter tray, the fully automatic process starts after the selected delay time:

  1. Scooping & liquefying: The ‘GenieHand’ sifts solids out of the washable granules. These are liquefied in the waste chamber and flushed away directly via the waste water.
  2. Washing & Disinfecting: A mixture of water and SaniSolution thoroughly cleans and disinfects both the granules and the bowl. Germs and odours are neutralised.
  3. Drying: A hot-air blower completely dries the granules and the inside of the bowl, so the litter tray is ready for use again immediately.

Three ways to activate the CatGenie 120+

You can customise how the CatGenie starts the cleaning cycle:

  • Cat activation: Sensors (“Genie Eyes”) detect use. Cleaning starts automatically 10 or 30 minutes after the cat leaves the litter tray.
  • Timed control (Auto-Start): You set fixed times (up to 4 cleaning cycles per day).
  • Manual activation: Pressing a button on the unit starts the cycle immediately.

Your CatGenie processes cat waste and needs to be cleaned occasionally to ensure it continues to work properly. To keep your unit running at its best, simply clean it gently but thoroughly.

What do you need to do?

  • Take your CatGenie apart and gently scrub the components twice a year to remove hair, residue or build-up.
  • Carry out a CatGenie maintenance cycle every 90 days. The CatGenie maintenance kit contains citric acid to dissolve limescale or other deposits. If your water has a high limescale content, the maintenance cycle may need to be carried out more frequently.
