How does CatGenie work?
CatGenie works just like other modern household appliances. Instead of dirty, dusty cat litter, it uses biodegradable, washable granules. This means you and your cat will always find the litter tray clean and fresh. When your cat uses the litter tray, CatGenie automatically scoops and flushes away the waste and then washes, cleans and dries the tray and granules – leaving everything as good as new. In addition, CatGenie keeps an eye on the usage and condition of both your cat and the unit, so that – no matter where you are – you know that everything is fine.

- Cat-friendly: Litter-like, washable granules (Washable Granules) satisfy your cat’s need to scratch and cover.
- Liquids separate: When your cat uses the litter tray, liquid drains away from the granules, so that only solids are flushed away.
- Removing solids: At the start of the cleaning process, the GenieHand scoops out the solid waste; this is liquefied and safely disposed of.
- Thorough washing: Fresh water fills the tray; the GenieHand scrubs the tray and granules.
- Disinfection: The cat-friendly SaniSolution decontaminates the tray and granules of germs and odours.
- Safe disposal: Liquefied waste and soapy water are flushed out of the house via the toilet or drain.
- Drying: A hot air blower dries the tray and litter completely – for the comfort of your cat.
