1) Does the CatGenie litter tray comply with European standards?

Yes. The self-cleaning CatGenie litter tray complies with European standards. All solid waste is liquefied and discharged into the mains drainage system like normal domestic waste water. There is no conventional cat litter, which ends up in landfill sites.

2) I use traditional litter and there’s always an unpleasant smell in the house. Is it the same with the CatGenie?
