CatGenie for more cats

1) We have three cats at home. Is the CatGenie suitable for this?

Absolutely! The CatGenie is ideal for multi-cat households. Cats tend to avoid dirty litter trays or areas that have just been used by another cat. We recommend using the cat activation feature, so that the tray is automatically cleaned after each use and the next cat finds it fresh. For more than two cats aged six months or older, we recommend two CatGenie litter boxes.

2) We have three cats and, until now, each one needed its own litter box. Is it the same with the CatGenie?

Not really. Multiple litter trays are usually only needed because cats don’t want to use dirty or smelly ones. As the CatGenie is always clean and fresh, your cats generally don’t need a separate additional litter tray.

3) We have two cats and want to adopt a third. The two use the CatGenie without any problems – what about the new cat?

The new cat will usually follow the others’ lead. Activate the Cat Activation Programme so that the CatGenie cleans automatically after every use. Alternatively, you can set an automatic programme – the number of cleaning cycles per day is important:

• 1 cat: 2 cycles
• 2 cats: 4 cycles
• 3 cats: 6 cycles
